I dont mean to sound rude, but is your pot old? I have been using the same pots and pans for the last 7 years (always washed by hand – never washed in dishwasher) and I don’t have a problem.
What is the pot made out of?
How do you clean this pot?
Pots aren’t that expensive, I think I would just buy another pot – you should have to taste your cookware in your food…I wish I had a better answer for you.

Boil diluted vinegar inside then spill it and wipe down the inside. See if that helps.
